iOS 27 devs: has anyone found a way to keep a SwiftUI search tab detached from the tab bar without it opening the keyboard on tap?
Same build, Xcode 27. iOS 26: Tab(role: .search) sits separate. iOS 27: it’s attached. .prominent detaches it but loses the search field in the bar. Feedback filed.

Sometimes it’s better not to say anything
one reason I think is worth highlighting is that a core ingredient for healthy dialogue is the ability to listen. But listening is not part of the social internet landscape. You cannot perceive the listening; you can only perceive the saying.
There was so much of this post I wanted to highlight and share, perhaps write my own feelings. Maybe not…

So, 2.1 is ready for Testflight
I am thinking about revamping the way testing works and pushing it to supporters first, the orginal backers really helped with the development of Micro Social but I’m reluctant to look like I have my hand out.
I need to put some thought into this.

Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal?
I hate some authors do is this romanticization of being broken. You don’t need to be a mess to be a good writer, and I don’t get why people keep acting like you do.
I hear it a lot from comedians too. That being a bit outside the norm is somehow ‘better’. Perhaps it’s the Hunter S Thompson tinted glasses.
